Our Guarantee

Here at Rholin we are so confident in the standard of our installation and the products that we use, every job we carry out comes with a 15 year guarantee as standard*. Giving you that extra peace of mind.

This guarantee comes in two parts:

• 15 year guarantee from swish on the products themselves, i.e. against discolouration
• 15 year guarantee from Rholin Home Improvements itself against the standard of our workmanship.

* Plus : Should you decide to move the guarantee is transferable to the new owners of the house

Being a Swish approved installer

Swish are a household name within the UK, with over 25 years of experience in cellular PVCu construction products. The approved installer scheme was introduced by Swish to put quality first by setting high installation standards, in addition to monitoring the workmanship of companies such as ourselves. The fact we have been a Swish Approved Installer for over a decade speaks for itself. In fact at present we are one of the largest UK operators in the Swish Approved Installer Scheme.

Advice when Getting Quotes

1) Does the installer have a good reputation and track record in roofline installation?

If you haven’t heard of them or their reputation, ask for a list of jobs they have done within the local area and go see for yourself first hand.

2) Do they use quality brand name products?

Plastic is like many materials, there are varying degrees of quality available on the market, which all range in price. Some of the cheaper plastics are susceptible to discolouration over time, in many cases they can go pink. To ensure this doesn’t happen make sure the products have been made using a light alloy, like titanium, as opposed to one that is lead based.

3) Will they install over the top of existing timber or do they fully replace?

Installing plastic over timber is a very short-term solution, which may initially hide the problem but certainly won’t eliminate it. We strongly recommend you avoid this.

4) In addition to giving you a price have they fully explained what they intend to do for the price?

We always endeavour to make sure the customer is fully aware of what we do and how we do it. When quoting our surveyor will explain the whole process involved and make time for any questions you may have for us. Beware of companies that just look at the property and give you a rough price, without further information.
